Every year the mayor of the town of Haverfordwest (this year mayor Councillor Jim Campbell) will host the civic tradition of the beating of the bounds. The annual festival celebrates the traditions of the old trading port of Haverfordwest, with a waterborne procession to inspect the town boundaries and the fishing rights as the Admiral of the port.
